Could you give me the scene where you have this problem?

I have this problem with every scene. As soon as motion blur (internal) is activated, the Batch Render fails.

I think this might be the issue, according to the render log:

Error: Internal motion blur animation with "After" direction and 0.021 shutter requires 1 extra frame(s) after the animation's end frame.

I get this regardless of where I set the last frame to render...?

In your case - if you have e.g. 1000 frames in the scene, you can only do the rendering of first 999 frames. The last frame will only be used as a "tail" - for motion blur of 999th frame.

You could probably fix it by adding an extra keyframe at frame 1001

Even if I render a subset of the center of the timeline I get the same issue.
