Hey guys,
I'm doing a lot of animation and recognized how my one gpu setup need about 6 seconds to calculate samples and show an ideal render quality, but another 4 to 5 to "store the passes". Notn that I render any additional passes, but it seems to wait until a file is written to update for the next frame or something... a real bottleneck, if you think of it in percentages. In animation from 800 to 4000 frames it makes a massive amount.
Any ideas, suggestions or explanations?
Any advice on the bottleneck of storing times?

hi,
what kind of explanation do you expect? it depends amount and sizes of passes. takes some time to process and transfer from gpu and some for saving also. This gpu renderer and works different against cup renderers. Try to run second copy of C4D if you have still free vram.
