Hi we recently switched from Max to Maya and this is something that eludes us.
How do you apply a linear workflow when rendering and batchrendering, and not using the IPR, in Maya 2016 and Octane? In the end I want to save out 32-bits or 16-bits files.

As soon as we choose Maya IFF 16 or tif 16 as our output file Maya doesn't seem to take the gamma attribute in the camera settings into consideration anymore.

When you set it to 16Bit raw, the renderviewport must also be in 16Bit raw

Thanks for your reply. Can you set the render viewport to 16 bit in Maya 2016 and if so, where?

this should explain everything hopefully.
