In the compact material editor clicking on the material button (below the previews on the right) to change the type of octane material or select from a library, freezes for a few seconds and then crashes the program. Happens on all 2.x [TEST] releases.

I can't reproduce it on my machine. Could you give me the scene where it is reproduceable for you?

It's reproducible for me on all scenes, even on fresh ones with no content.

In this screenshot the materials are standard non-octane materials, but it also happens when I use the converter tool and make them all octane materials.

I think I found the issue. I had material libraries from before the 2.x test releases that were being loaded by the compact material editor. By using the slate editor I was able to unload these libraries and now it works as expected. When I re-load the old libraries back in, it crashes. Somehow the full material editor was able to render/display the obsolete material libraries (shown just as just empty materials of their respective types), but the compact editor was not able to.
