Looks really cool.
Too bad these guys can't be trusted when it comes to release dates (see Megascans, not yet released after THREE YEARS  )

While Q was dragging asses, and making excuses like personal tragedies, I switched to Substance and never looked back. But I still own QS, and you never know, I may still use it for some stuff... Thanks for the heads-up Rikk. I stopped visiting their site months ago. Though, this news will likely pop up on cgchannel soon.

The good news for you is that V2 is a free upgrade if you already have V1 :)

Yeah that was obviously bullshit. They weren't ready to deliver anything anyway... After SIX MONTHS from the "supposed" release date, they still have nothing working for Megascans... Simply ridiculous...

Don't really care about megascans, was way out of my price range as a hobbiest, but V2 of the suite looks exciting. And with them being at least the stage of going external for beta testers, i have faith that it's real :)

Can't wait to get my hands on it and get my Aliens PowerLoader done.

I would be almost as concerned about how effing huge Megas must be, and how much they would take up in projects on drives (I like to have full copies of all assets, when possible, and not just have all textures linked from main stash, in textures SSD), and even bandwidth when transferring/backing up jobs online etc... I'm sure that for certain things, it is worth it. Does anyone know what average size in MB is per MegaScan?

There was this tiny texture pack in the Unreal Asset Store that was using megascans assets, and it was really expensive, but that turned out to be a mistake, and it was immediately removed.
No words yet on actual pricing.
