Hi all,

I'm testing Rhino 5 in these days and the plug-in of Sam. I have this problem:

- I put all the materials to my objects (in the attachment there are simple solid objects) and I system the UV mapping: here I have 3 layers
- I use the plug-in and I pass directly to Octane (v5 x64)
- But in Octane I have only ONE material on the 3 objects...and the others???
- In Rhino I have put the name to layers...but in Octane my objects are named all "NEW"...why???

now...my question is this:Why Octane knows the path of one materials and not for all of them? The place with the textures is the same for all...

If someone knows this problem, please write me the solution...many thanks!

Garcia ;)

I'm guessing your materials have spaces in them, and they are all probably something like New Material 001. Try renaming them in Rhino with underscores replacing the spaces to see if you get a better result.

This is something that my exporter should handle but doesn't, sorry about that, it needs to get fixed. Let me know if that doesn't solve it for you.
