Hi,
Ok so there is "moveable proxy" option but also Export as Octane proxy. When I use Export as Octane proxy, should I also use the Moveable proxy option? I really can't get the correct usage of external proxies.
Regards,
Max.

- Use the moveable proxy option to save VRAM on many instances in your scene AND to see an immediate update in Octane Viewport when transforming them.
Check it and THEN make your instances.

- Octane proxies are used for huge objects like trees etc. for an o.k. viewport performance AND to save VRAM and keep filesize small !!

Of course you can turn an Octane proxy object into a movable proxy for many instances of it...

in my example i have 80.000 polygons and 110MB of VRAM instead of 265.000.000 polygons and my graphics cards couldn´t load it....
