Hi,

it could be great if could be added:
* a button to change the frame buffer window size so that it match the render view (for example I set the size at 50%)
* a way so that the output size can be changed at the frame buffer (for quicker noise free preview I would like set the render output at 50% during a viewport session)
* if the shown size is set at 50% and the frame buffer size is big enough to show the rendering than the scroll bars could disappear

Ciao,
Micha

You can do this already via the Settings tree Resolution node Select Resolution->Rhino Viewport.
* a way so that the output size can be changed at the frame buffer (for quicker noise free preview I would like set the render output at 50% during a viewport session)
You need to do this via the Settings tree - tick the Aspect Ratio checkbox in the Resolution node and adjust to whatever resolution you need. You can also add custom resolutions by adding them to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\OctaneRender for Rhinoceros\resolutions.xml.
* if the shown size is set at 50% and the frame buffer size is big enough to show the rendering than the scroll bars could disappear
This happens because the plugin scales the Octane render buffer rather than the bitmap - so the actual GU widget bitmap is still large and needs scrollbars even when you scale to 25%. Changing this would not be simple - and I would rather leave it as is.

My request was to get an quick way that if the Octane viewport is set at 25/50/75/100% than the whole Octane viewport is scaled to match the rendering. For example if choose 50% than I try to see the whole rendering or I need more space at my screen. I need to manual scale the Octane viewport. example -> see screenshot

The option "Settings tree Resolution node Select Resolution->Rhino Viewport" isn't shown here - see screenshot.

Good to know, thank you. On the over side I tried to scale down the Octane viewport during Octane was running. I'm working on a FullHD animation and I looked for a way for a quick jump to half resolution without to change settings, only by scaling the Octane viewport.

Small wish for a smart UI only. Not so important. In the past I have seen the Maxwell render plugin and I was impressed by the high quality UI. Since this time this is my reference for any render plugin. ;)

When Resolution Lock is NOT enabled, the Octane resolution is sourced from the size of the Viewport window. So the plugin cannot then change the size of the Viewport, since this would then change the render resolution.
The option "Settings tree Resolution node Select Resolution->Rhino Viewport" isn't shown here - see screenshot.
I suspect you may have tried an early demo version which did no include "Rhino Viewport" as an option, and the current installer does not overwrite that file. Can you pls unzip the attached file into your C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\OctaneRender for Rhinoceros folder, and the Rhino Viewport option should then be available.

Disable Resolution Lock, and you can set the resolution by resizing the Viewport.
