Hi there !
Just purchased Octane for Maya, last version for Maya 2015 and I have a very frustrating issue. My batch render works for still image only, when I go to the render settings and change to sequence rendering, the batch stops and don't even make the frame file. Very bad sad start with Octane for Maya. We are ready here at the studio to bring it into our pipeline, but, this is a mayor set back. Any ideas ? I made a video of a simple test scene. Just camera animation, octane materials and light.
Thanks in advance people.

Hi, you probably have animated objects there, check that the animated objects have the right mesh type. to do this, go to 'octane properties' and set animated objects as a 'movable proxy'. More about this here: https://docs.otoy.com/#56Mesh%20geometry%20types

Sorry, there is just too little information about what you are doing exactly. This 360p video is absolutely not helpful as it is impossible to see any details on it...
If you like to get the help - you need to give very good description of what you are doing and what you are getting, supply the Octane output from script editor (with "Verbose mode" enabled in settings), perhaps some readable screenshots... The scene where it can be reproduced could be very helpful too.
But it is absolutely impossible to understand the source of your problem from "batch render works for still image only, when I go to the render settings and change to sequence rendering, the batch stops and don't even make the frame file" with 360p video where nothing can be seen... Because Octane batch rendering works OK for other Maya users, so we need to know a lot more than you have given to be able to help you...

Hi. Thanks for reply.
Complete agree with the video quality, next time I will be more careful. I fix the problem by moving to Maya 2016 and trying the last build of Octane. I remember that the same issue happens with the demo version, same Maya version, I thought it was a demo restriction. Anyway, now is working wonderfully. What a great tool !!!.
cheers !
