Hello guys,

So many inspiring work here, great job guys, keep it up!

I just downloaded Emily 2.1 and made some render tests.
The work was basically redo the shaders, tweak the textures, especially for the displacement and the eyes.

Hi, yes the default displacement map is weirdly bad. I modified it to have a more subtle result, and bring back some details where it was black before. I modified the eye textures too, to have one simple map for the whole eye.
Here are the maps, happy to share:

Hi everybody,

After seeing this topic, i've also made my little test with this nice model. It's not perfect but it was fun to do. :)
There is also a little test video. Hope you'll like it.

The sss looks nice indeed, I would increase the specularity a little bit, now it looks a bit dry, but good test so far. 8-)

I've not done any human renderings yet and this looks like a great model to start learning with. But I must say, atome451, the eyes in your render are what really sold it for me and those I understand are some of most difficult to get right. Great stuff!

Thanks a lot for your comments! :)

Rikk The Gaijin, you are absolutely right. I've added a piece of sebum in these versions below. I've also changed the lights for something more "normal".
Pegot, about the eyes, the setup is very simple. The model is doing the most important. I've almost nothing to do with that because i've used the materials from Synce. ;)
