I see little reason to upgrade to version 2 actually . It works slower on my PC and have no features I would actually need

Hi Kirk
In essence yes. To upgrade from V1 to V3 you will need to go through V2.
Kind regards, Win

So... what's the cost of Octane 3 then?
I'm on Octane 2, but if you need to get an upgrade to Octane 2 to get an upgrade to Octane 3, what's the benefit of doing that compared to getting a brand, sparkling new Octane 3 license in terms of costs?

some people got octane V1 in the early days fairly cheap, so thats a difference with getting v3 (which I think wil be the same price as getting a new V2)
