Hi ALL
I use to export your version 1_00-05 v 2014.
but recently I install the 2015 version, the texture file is empty for each export. can help me?
I do not use the plug-in Sketchup it is not compatible to my needs, the standalone version is better.
Thanks

I don't have that export window in my SketchUp Plugin.
Is it available somewhere?

render your scene, hit pause, go to plugins -> octane and export as ocs.

thank you for your help, but I personally only use the export TIG, I have re-installed, it works again. but as soon as I use plugin octane, export TIG no longer works.
The exporter.ocs the plug in create many Obj file (groups + components) it's useless.
One .obj is enough, and color is equal to a material here is an example with the plugin and export TIG. (We should add the views and materials or leave the choice to the user in the pre-recorded preferences)
We must minimize the Graph Editor at export level .ocs
But the plug-in is very well SKETCHUP for Proxies.
THANKS.

you must have the octane preview widow open to use export function
exporting components and groups as separate objs is extremely useful especially for instancing
show graph is not ready yet - this is experimental and (I hope) soon be available in next releases

I agree with you, but it is not useful for all the world, we might be able to have a choice in preference or not.

Yes, I can render out the scene that way. Recent updates have bungled the OCS/ORBX export. -see attached.smicha wrote:render your scene, hit pause, go to plugins -> octane and export as ocs.fivebythree wrote:I don't have that export window in my SketchUp Plugin.

Everything is fine...
Where's the geometry?
When I do this with more complex meshes, the result is nothing. Place the proxy, and nothing appears. This needs to be fixed. This is the only reason I've been using SU2014 / octane v.013 to create proxy geometry. I'm a daily user, having to work around these issues affects business.
**In the post above it appears that there's a dialogue box for octane options. These are simply not available in v0.15**
