Hello Paul,

It would be really nice if we could use rhino files instead of obj. files, these could also incorporate the correct octane materials...

Is this possible ?

Hi Andreas

Unfortunately I think this would be very difficult. You really need to load the 3dm, open the Viewport, and export as ORBX, then use the ORBX as the proxy. If you have a need to convert a lot 3dm's to ORBX format, there may be ways to streamline this process.

I will also try out the ORBX approach... at least this way I get a file with correct octane material definitions right?
