I downloaded an .obj tree and it took. But Octane was "Analyzing the Scene" forever. I exited and re-opened and it worked. Is that normal?

Sorry for the late replay on this post.

No, that is not normal - I have not see it happen before. Perhaps another process was rendering with Octane, causing the load to take longer than normal? Or perhaps the OBJ file was locked by another process? Or you may have scattered a very large OBJ file millions of time?

If you see this happen again or find a set of steps this can reproduce the problem, pls let me know.

Thanks

I haven't been able to reproduce this. Does it happen with just a single tree in the scene and nothing else? If so, can you pls send me a sample scene/tree and I will take a closer look.
