if i change the materials in octane instead of c4d
when i return to c4d if i have to make a modify on the mesh i haven0t them.
when i return to octane i have to start again with the creation of the materials or i can save these materials to use again after and put again on the mesh??
i haven0t understood the system of creating the materials in octane
somebody can help me?

If you save your work in octane you could work later on with the same settings.
For example, you still work with octane, pause the render process, go to c4d, change your mesh -> export (only not render)
to obj -> overwrite old obj -> back to octane -> hit obj node and import new mesh.
For materials have a look to the manual page 68 ff, it is to complicated to describe here.
