Because this forum is quite flooded with spam, the first posts of a user need to be approved by a moderator, to keep spam under control.

Hi,

I have standlone + 3ds max licence and I can't post a new topic in 3ds max forums.

Do I like need to accumulate points and stuff and appear overly clever before I'm allowed to? Really love the renderer, paid for the licence and a mother expensive nvidia card, but can't ask questions or bring up issues?

Seriously Octane Render Team you need to take some notes with regard to customer relationship:-)

No worries, I still LOVE octane:-)

*edit*: I don't even have an option to start a topic in 3ds max plugin forum, so how is it going to be moderated by anyone?

Hi Alyosha
Is this Forumname the same as on your user account?
When you purchase licenses on your user account, you have the option of creating a new Forumname, or attaching an existing Forumname to your user account.
If you created a new Forumname then forum rights for licensed users will be attached to the new Forumname.
Kind regards, Win

Ah, I think I did, yes, didn't think it mattered. Should have thought of that. Not clever.

Apologies for my little outburst of frustration, in my "defense" I did write that after a glass or two of wine....*blush*

If you could transfer the forum rights (sounds like something ancient Romans approve of) to this forum name that would be great, cheers guys!

Hi, you should use your licensed forum username. It should be the same username that your are using when you sign in to the customer area.
