Please, can someone expain to me how this works, or is it still somehow broken?
Now we have this great render layer setup function. This works great in octane render viewport. For example in my attached renders
the ship has the object ID 2 in the octane properties, everthing else the default setting of 1. When I activate Render Layer Setup in the
Kernel settings, set active layer ID to 2 and render via the octane render window I get a rendering of just the ship .... perfekt.
But Aren´t the Render Layer ID - and Render Layer Mask - Render Elements supposed to give me the same result / and the Objects Mask?
Everything with the default ID of 1 is also rendered as you can see. Why is this? How is this supposed to work? Or is it a bug?
I really (partly) love octane, and I am thinking about buying a second license, but please ....
Will I be ever able to render mulitple masks with my animation through the 3dsmax render elements?
And please don´t argue with the randomly assigned colors in Mat and Object ID. This is useless.
