Hi everybody,

I thought a Christmas tree would be a really fun and relevant subject for octane. I spent no more than 30 minutes on this. I would love to see others try. I am sure there could be some really awesome renders. One with ornaments and small lights and in a scene would be really cool.

400k poly.
xfrog model.
66 emitters.
8.5 hours to 6500 samples. No hotpixel removal at all.

Enjoy

I love the overall look of it, very interesting. Could be alot better with a better pine tree and more realistically modeled lights.

I planning to make a christmas tree and will post renders soon. Try get some close ups on the lights and take advantage of the DOF. ;)
