A few posts ago, I wanted to know how it ticked well I've just started now.
Since i have gotten Ds and Cs in math and science in my total 10 years of education another 2 then college XD.
I have decided to take this slow and not rush corners. And this is something that I want to learn and that isn't something that is going to be forced.
so what i currently know is the following (please correct if wrong):
Outgoing = Lo(x,Wo)
Emitted = Le(x,Wo)
Reflected=Lr(x,Wo)
Transmitted=Lt(x,Wo)
[Outgoing] = [emitted] + [reflected] + [transmitted]
With x being the given position.
Now what i dont get is the w, i know that w is the direction.
but im seeing different Ws such as Wo,Wi,W,W'
And
Im seeing these to:
x , x*, x'
What makes each one unique or what does each one represent?
Now i encourage my self to use the fancy terminology and not the facebook talk but i can still be a bit rusty

thanks,
radiant
