Hi everyone,
We are building 2 machines dedicated to OctaneVR and are wondering which graphic card is the best: GeForce Titan X or Titan Z?
Thanks for your help!

OctaneVR / Nvidia GeForce Graphic Cards
As OctaneVR uses the OctaneRender engine, you can compare the performance of GPU's using OctaneBench.

Depends if you need 6gb or 12 ggb vram. Titan Z is 6gb for Octane and Titan X is 12gb.
If you think 6 gb is enough, then it also depends on how many cards you can stick in your Build.
Titan Z has more renderpower, but depending on your config you can have more X or more Z.
With watercooling i.e. I can have 3 Z's in a current config instead of 2 with aircooling.
So, a config on water with 4xZ will perform better then 4xX, but has 'only' 6 gb.
And it depends on your budget, and the Z's are hard to get these days, so probably you end up with the great X
This is a nice thread about choice X or Z

Thanks guys!
Here's what we do: we are building 2 machines. the first one with 2 x Titan X and the other one with 2 x Titan Z
Motherboard: ASUS ATX DDR4 3000 LGA 2011-3 Motherboards X99-DELUXE/U3.1
CPU: Intel Core i7-5960X Haswell-E 8-Core 3.0GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W Desktop Processor BX80648I75960X
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB (8 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz C16 memory kit for DDR4 Systems DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300) (CMK64GX4M8A2666C16)
I'll let you know which one works better.
