Hi,
if i send a job to my slave using backburner, the slave will start processing the geometry, but if the slave switches to "Rendering", it just freezes and the screen stays black (see attachment).
The slave is a Dual Xeon Machine with 4 GTX980 Cards.
Distributed Rendering works perfect.
Any idea how to solve this?
Thank you.

Do you have any GPU monitor software (e.g. EVGA Precision or similiar)?
If yes - check if you GPU are used or if they're idle.

Hi there,
Problem solved. It was the Onboard-VGA of my Slave-Dual Xeon Mainboard. After setting the Onboard-Jumper on "disabled" everything works fine
If the Onboard-VGA is activated, there seems to be a problem with the GPUs. Sometimes they are not recognized and that caused the black screen, when rendering with backburner.
