Hey Guys!

Does anyone know what is causing it?

// Error: Octane: Error mesh export. Octane render stopped.
It looks like the problem is completely random and it only happens while IPR live rendering.
Batch render worked fine. (at the moment)

PlugIn is 2.21.1
rendeing on i7 4770k + 4 780 ti + 2 Slaves (2x 780 + Titan)

Thank you so much!
Daniel

Hi Daniel

From my side when this happening is because I have mesh with the same name in the different groups, happening a lot when you duplicate groups.
Just select all mesh rename them and should work.

Hope this help you out.

There is also an option in the render settings to change names to unique which will make the plugin do it at rendertime.

Sorry, but such a "bugreports" do not make sence without sharing at least full Octane verbose output from SE.

I reworked this mechanism a long time ago - so there should be no strict requirements of unique mesh names in current versions... If you still experience such issues sometimes - it may be some bug. Just report - and I'll fix it.;)

Ah, cool. No I've had no issues with this recently, just spouting from memeory. ;) Unfortunately I don't get much time on Octane these days (too busy working elsewhere for that annoyingly important money stuff) so I haven't been able to do much testing of new versions or be any help on the forums. :(
