Could there be a setting-slider for how much the Render Priority setting reduces usage of the video card? Both for Network Rendering through octane_node.cfg and in plugin dialog inside LW.

Reason is Would still like to use most of my GPU power in LWSN but while rendering need to do other research on internet etc... All I can do now is disable one and enable the other. Would be great to use 80% of the disabled one or something.

Also in LW it seems even when I have priority setting option enabled on one card my UI is still quite sluggish. So would like to have more priority or something...

Thoughts?

In the plugin render options you can set the priority for the selected GPUs to low, medium or high. Octane only supports this three values. In theory with the priority set to low and enabled in your display GPU, you should be able to work without problems with your computer.

Currently the LWSN nodes don't support the priority settings. I will try to add this feature in a future release.

Ah yes I forgot those were there in the plugin interface. Understand why they are not right there with the GPU's and Priority buttons but just forgot.

Would be nice for a select few I'm sure to have the ability to include that in the octane_node.cfg file.

Not sure if it could be done but would be great to be able to CONFIGURE that file within the LW plugin interface with button selectors etc... But not sure if the plugin inside LW could write to my hard drive.

Yes true, I need to put the priority settings in the same panel than the GPU settings.

Could be possible to have a tool to write the LWSN config file from the plugin, but anyway I think that this file format is currently very simple, and easy to configure even with the Notepad ;)

Certainly no reason to have a custom TOOL separate from the plugin but if it was a part of the plugin it would streamline the user experience a bit.

But would much rather have new features in v3...so not a priority for sure.

Ah, I may have run into something. It seems the two TITANS I have are not showing up in my list as I thought they would/should. I was setting the priority setting for the wrong display/GPU. I figured the one I was using for my display in the first slot closest to the CPU would be GPU0 and therefore be the first in the list...but it doesn't seem so... May not need any additional Priority settings as the ones you have do work as I would want.

Still might be nice to have in LWSN config file for later though....
