I can't work out how to activate the button for camera autofocus in the render viewport.

Can anyone help?

Auto-focus only affects non-perspective cameras, so if you aren't using a camera that you've added, that is likely your issue. By using, I mean you have added a camera, and are currently viewing through that camera (it is the view currently selected in the droplist at the top-right of the Daz Studio viewport, all of the default cameras like left, right, top, etc. are perspective cameras, they are in infinite focus mode at all times, so auto-focus would be pointless). Once you have this camera controlling the OcDS viewport, you can lock the OcDS viewport to it with the "Lock" button at the far bottom right of the OcDS viewport buttons (Lock camera switch), should you need to go back to perspective view to move things around/adjust your scene. If you are currently using an alternative camera (non-perspective), try scrolling out one mouse-wheel "click" then back to refresh the view, sometimes this is needed to un-stick the camera.

Thanks, but that is not the problem.

The three camera focus buttons in the viewport are disabled, no matter what else I change in the camera set-up. The problem exists regardless of whether or not perspective is enabled.

I only have this problem in one scene. I have other scenes where the buttons are working.

I assume you have created a new camera and are looking through it? As sikotik says, the focus buttons are disabled for all default cameras.

If the answer is yes, the auto-focus being greyed out is a well-known bug in 2.15. The only known remedy for it is closing DS and reloading the afflicted scene. It may not work the first time so you just have to rinse and repeat until the problem goes away.

Did you try closing DS and reloading the scene? Did the problem persist?

It does seem to be a bug.

Thanks for your help.
