Hi guys,
I am trying to apply a different range of colours from a image texture to my hair object. Set up is as shown in the screenshot:
X-Particles are linked to a trail object, which is used for the hair object.
When I put an image with different colours in the diffuse channel and render it within the Ocaten Live Viewer it shows up exactly as I would like to have it - a random distribution of colours drawn from the image. As soon as I render it in the picture viewer the desired effect is gone.
Working in C4D R16 and Octane v2.22.2 but tried it on previous versions with the same result.
Any help or explanation would be appreciated.
