Hi,

I am having a problem with the displacement using native C4Ds noise. When I add a displacement I get these edges. I know it has something to do with the UVs. Is there something I am missing or is this not supported yet?

Thank you!

Any cpu shaders(c4d's shaders) cannot work with gpu engine. We are converting them to images and mapping to materials. So it's just samething as making a image in ps and mapping as image. I hope this makes some sense!

Yes, that would pretty much explain everything. Thanks for your answer! I have a few workarounds in mind, so it's not the end of the world, although it would have made this fulldome project a lot easier to finish.

You can use spherical mapping of texture and big resolutions of displacement.
