Hi all, I do not understand how I can reduce the standard rounding in the material, while it turns out that the material with rounded geometry produces unwanted artifacts such as dents. I know this is not a perfect mesh, but I haven't any other

Your best bet is to do some Normal editing. Sometimes the modeling program has good ways to do auto-smoothing based on angle thresholds. Essentially this comes down to: this is a model/normal issue, not a renderer issue.

You could try to turn off normals and set smooth angle to something like 60 _before_ import.

Yep, this is mostly solved all the problems around the mesh. In Cinema we are using Phong Tag for smoothing. Until yesterday I've didn't know Octane takes into native Phong value. Thanks for help!
