Hi everyone,
a quick question and maybe feature request.
Is there a possibility to generate a multilayer EXR in the Mayer plugin.
And even better a compressed one.
For now, each frame in 1080p resolution weights 32MB. Would there be a way to compress this natively from the octane plugin?
We did find a software that does it afterwards, but it is not very handy to say the least...
Thanks for your answers

My solution to compressing is to convert the files with openImageIO. We don't use multi-channel. It not only saves space but the zips compressed files load a lot faster in comp aswell. The rendermanager we use converts the files every time a chunck is completed. I suppose you could perhaps do the same thing with a post-render mel script?
