I have a 3DS max animation that uses visibility tracks to control when certain objects turn on/show up and turn off/go away. When I output my animations to Octane the visibility parameter is lost an all objects are visible during the entire animation. Can I fix this some how? Does octane animation support visibility tracks?
Please help!
I will need to change my animation in a hurry to resolve this issue if Octane does not support visibility tracks.

Just did a quick test. Visibility tracks seem to work fine. Just make moveable proxies out of the objects that need to be updated each frame.

Thank you for your help. I still can not seem to get it to work. Do I need to set the movable proxies for every frame in the animation for each object or can I set the movable proxies for each object at the key frames that they become visible or hidden?
Thanks,
Sincerely,
Jason

Do you have "auto update moveable proxy" checked in the render dialog / kernel tab?
Edit:
also, you only need to set moveable proxy once on an object. (refresh octane render window after)
Note: (once you get it working)
Something to also look out for is when there are coincident faces between the object with visibility track and another surface. There seems to be a bug / unexpected outcome where Octane will still render the coincident faces but not the rest of the geometry. We just lift or move the object with vis track slightly away from the other coincident surface.

Thank you once again for your help. I still am unable to get it to work. I have verified that my settings match those in your file and still does not work. It all looks great in max! I can render frames that show my objects hidden but when I export my animation and open it in Octane all objects appear all the time. Auto update movable proxy is checked the object has it movable proxy set from the octane properties.
I am using the built in standalone Octane animation exporter, are you using a script?
Sincerely,
Jason

The scene you sent over did not have an Octane camera so I added one and then tried to export the animation using the built in Octane plug-ins standalone exporter and it now crashes Max every time. Over and over it crashes an all I did was add the camera and try to export the animation. Any idea what is going on.
