Will 3.0 bring with it the ability to hide items from reflection rays?...or am I misinterpreting this:

"Split render passes, advanced per object reflection controls: OctaneRender 3 allows artists to split render passes into raw lighting and albedo passes, and adds fine-grained reflection, shadow and illumination casting controls per object or layer. These elements can also be built into the export, whether it is a light field, VR scene, or a movie file."

Time to re-visit this one and it's CONSTANT source of fuss and bother..seriously it effects nearly every job I work on.

Typical scenario, I have an archi scene in clay mode to as materials aren't setup yet . I'm using daylight environment and to add a few highlights ill drop in a luminous poly here and there. I've tweaked the lumigons to my hearts content and now I'm perfectly happy with the lighting setup. Ok.. time to add some materials: glass window, specular timber panels, metallic Panels etc.

Arrgggg!!!!,,, big fat white blobs of reflected luminous polys all over my materials. What to do now? tweak all my lumigons one by one so they're not caught in my specular surfaces??? Sure I could, and have basically no other option to do so, but I DON'T WANT TO MOVE ANYTHING.. my lights are setup exactly how I want them.

It's really such an infuriating situation I feel I have to compromise my scenes nearly every time (unless I'm lucky and by sheer chance there aren't any unwanted reflections going on). Please......... please could someone in the loop provide some info on what's happening with the future of octane in this regard. I think by version 3 there should by now be 'hidden from reflection' and 'hidden from diffuse' flags don't you agree?
