I tried putting in a extra GPU on my machine.
In the Standalone render i get around 35% performence bump, when i enable the GTX680.
However in the Cinema4D plugin i get the exact same performence having eighter GTX680 alone, GTX980 alone or both at the same time.
How do i make use of both of the GPU's in the Cinema4D plugin?
It should be noted that if i run this scene in standalone i clock in at 1:30 if i run with both cards and 2:31 running with just the GTX 980
How to enable multiple GPU's?

I don't know much about it, but deselect the primary for the 980 or if you are only be rendering then deselect both primary checkboxes... Just guessing

Looks like you have "all GPUs" enabled in your render settings. As far as I know, this means it will use all your cards whether you uncheck the individual cards or not.. hence the same result every render. We use this feature so you can have one card disabled while working for fast refresh, but then always have all the cards working when you render.
You are looking on the correct way. That's the need to set on all gpus as you did. You may be confused by different times of rendering against SA. SA is working without priority and 8bit. If you use floatbuffer, render speed will decrease as in your sample. These should be reason for difference. Also if you set "use all gpus", of course all gpus are active on rendering. Make this comparison on LV, it uses 8bit buffer.
