I am trying to setup a dual GTX 970 computer.
But the motherboard only has 1 PCI 3.0 slot and 1 PCI 2.0 slot.
Can I use GTX 970 on a PCI 2.0 slot ? Will it be compatible ?
Thanks in Advance.

Hi, PCIe 3.0 is full backward compatible to 2.0.
PCIe 2.0 is a bit slower on loading scenes in to VRAM but you don´t notice in practice.
It does not affect render performance.
Cheers, mib
