Hi guys;

So, I'm here again, with another problem, this time with the displacement node. My render have 8k of resolution, but in the area near the camera, the displace lacks a lot of definition. Seems like the map have a low resolution, but it have a 6k, and is tiling at least two times in that region. The difuse is ok, beautiful, but the displacement is ugly and bloby, it seems that its not tesselating enough.

My shader is ok, and the level of details option in Displacement node is at maximum, 8192x8192. Is there some kind of cap for displacement resolution? Oh, and I'm using a manual UV tiling, scaling the lands outside the 1x1 area, not the native UV Projection Tiling in Cinema 4D.

Any idea?

max. resolution is 8k on displacements. And it useless to use higher than your texture sizes. Try some tricks on close areas.

If you're not going to closeup you can get your desired effect with bump in your case (as far as I can see from the example image). Depth and thickness is not that much, bump should be able to handle it pretty well.
