Hi, what License (on the slave machine) do i need, to render sequences on a slave machine with backburner in 3ds Max? And what License do i need, to render high resolution Images on the slave machine (no backburner)?
Is a WLAN Connection fast enough for network rendering or do i need a wired connection?
Thank you so much.
Bob

For now I think you need a standalone + max licence to render on backburner.
If rendering over the network (cooperative render) your slave pc will only need the standalone version but you'll need both standalone + max on the main pc.
For backburner wlan should be ok but not for network rendering (cooperative) as even the 1gb lan is slow for higher res renders.
