feature request: dump vram to disk, continue rendering later

you've came a long way, guys. octane rocks!

i'm just very cureous:

as far as I understand dumping the (compressed)(used) vram to disk in order to continue rendering later from the dump file should work. but you tell me, pls. too much work?
OS: Win7 x64, RAM: 8Gb, GPU: GTX 460 2048 Mb

this would be extremely nice. Maxwell Render does this and I used to use the hell out of the feature! I could render something to a low sample level quickly during the day to get client approval while he as still in the office, then continue that same render in the evening/overnight without wasting the time spent rendering the initial one.

Fprime for Lightwave used to do this.

I keep waiting on Otoy to include this incredibly useful feature.
