Hi all,

Attached is a Blender project demonstrating how to munch together beauty passes rendered in Octane with the Blender compositor. Compositing in Blender is node based (like Nuke and Fusion, unlike Photoshop and After Effects which are layer based). I guess it's not as full featured as Nuke and Fusion but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty nice to work with.

Can anybody who is more versed in Blender tell me if it's possible to have color mix operations with more than 2 inputs? Right now it doesn't scale because to combine N passes you need N-1 nodes.

cheers,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

this way you can control each layer.
The factor values for the first mix node are reversed.

That's a neat way of structuring the nodes, thanks for the tip!

cheers,
Thomas
