Hi i'm wanting Octane plugin off a Macbook pro 17" i7- mid 2010. It has a GeForce GT 330M 512mb card installed. I'm coming up with an error saying, "there is no CUDA device which is selected." I checked the octane settings window and the video device is shown but even when I force the device in the Devices tab I still receive the error. I did some research and it looks like the video card is compatible with cuda: https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-legacy-gpus
Is it just to old to run or is there a work around? Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Yes, this is too old to run the latest octane.
You will need a GPU with compute capability 2.0+ to run the latest octane, you will only be able to run v1.20 or older, and even then, there will be limitations. Please see the 1st item of the FAQ here: http://render.otoy.com/faqs.php

Appreciate the Reply, I figured... No worries I'm running a 12 core mac pro with a Quadro k5000 for mac. Just wanted to see if the laptop could be implemented.
Thanks!
