Hello everyone, i read a few posts, but it is unclear :?
The feature gizmo is planned? :D ..scale, move, rotate.
May be I selected objects, uv, triangles? For example, how can you make maxwell studio.
The biggest problem is always import a model. If you fail to assign the material, you have to start again a thousand times.
You must always apply the material twice. This is known to all.
Thanks

Maybe I was not clear. We try again!

Will be developed the selection command and move, scale with GIZMO?
I honestly think this is much more important that the features included in the post "Which features do you need the most?" :? :?
This is a basic function of all programs 3d graphics. select .. move .. scale ..
It has a big weight on the workflow!
Only Settings coordinate, on objects that can not be separated if they have different materials.
No one cares ....? strange ... :o
... uhmm..Team?
Developed gizmo just for me?
Thanks!

yeah, i agree. I think everybody is on board with you but the Octane team has never implemented it and hasn't said why, as far as I know. It seems really odd to me to not have a gizmo considering it makes it nearly impossible to move lights around in a program that whose sole purpose is to light things.

(sorry but saying to type the placement values into the placement node is not a valid solution)

Octane team read it, i see them :geek: but do not respond.
Surely they do not want to develop this feature. Why?
This is because octane become the number one rendering engines.

1) We want gizmo feature! :P

Add ..

2) Many of you will agree with me, to have the opportunity to use the generators with the materials displacement! Save the preview of the material displacement in the Local DB, this can not be done. :P
Thanks

Thanks Goldrak! It seemed like a very basic feature that was missing and never heard feedback on the feature before if/when it was requested, so it's good to hear the team will look at it 8-)

Superb! It will be one of the features that will complete the software!
This will improve greatly the workflow.
The feature will be especially efficient if the geometries can be selected regardless of the material assigned by external software.
Without having to do twice the work in another 3D software, assign materials to have separate geometries in octane.
Great!
Thanks Goldorak!

Yes, it would definitely decrease the time it takes to place a light or object in the scene. So please implement it! :D
