lightpasses - blotchy things

lightpasses rocks!! :o
but any idea how to get rid of these?

hotpixel is set to 0, also they dont seem to clear up with region-render.
there are two emitters + hdr

Hi there,

Those blotches in light pass 2 are caustics that start appearing. This has nothing to do with the light passes itself. It's just that with the light passes you can see the effect of each light on your scene.

You can get rid of those blotches by letting it cook longer, increasing the caustic blur of the kernel or making that Ipod and the ground plane a bit rougher.

What kernel are you using?

i changed the roughness on the ipod+ground added GI-clamp to about 1500 and it`s gone
kernel for these was pathtracing at 16 samples
