Hi, i would like to know if the Film Offset X value of C4D Cameras can somehow be exported to Octane? If not, it would be great to see this in upcoming versions of the plugin.

Regards,

Dennis

Hi dweyel,

Yes, this could be really usefull for rendering tiles by sample.
It's a good idea to open this subject.

Yeah, I have been thinking about it for a while, too. Especially since a lot Octane renderings are architectural renderings.
First thing though, is to add support for film offset to Octane and then the additional command line arguments that will allow the exporters to tell Octane about the film offset. It's on our to-do list.

Cheers,
Marcus

Good to hear, we need it for stereoscopic rendering.
