Error when starting Revit

Hello I am trying to use Octane on Revit and keep getting the following error when starting Revit. "Failed to initialize the add-in Octane render for Revit" because the assembly OctaneRender_for_revit.dll does not exist.

The add in is not available to use in Revit.

I am running window 7 pro 64, 64GB RAM, 2 x titan blacks, Revit 2015 build 20140606_1530(x64) update 3

Please help with this issue!

Hi Jason

That error means the octane dll could not be loaded - which in the majority of cases is due to the incorrect cuda drivers being installed.

Which cuda driver version are you running?
Does Octane Standalone run for you?

Hello,
Yes the Octane Program works along with my 3DSmax version but I can not get Revit to work.

My graphics card driver version is 344.75.

Please let me know if I can get you any other info

Thanks Jason - it sounds like an installation issue then. I suggest re-downloading the latest TEST build at http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=61&t=42589 and re-installing. Also - I assume you are running Revit via Revit.exe (and not double-clicking an rvt file). If it's the later, pls see FAQ question 12 at http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Revit/?page_id=416.

Thanks Paul,
I was able to install the Octane render add in for Revit and I thought it was going to work but,,, Once I open Octane render from the add in and then as soon as I paste my password for it in Revit crashes. Every time.

Jason - sorry you are having problems with this. I suspect the install has been compromised (perhaps by your virus scanner).

Can you tell me what plugin release number is displayed in the Activation tab of the plugin.

Also - have you previously installed the DEMO version of the plugin? If so - which version.
