I am working on a dark scene with a lot of speculars and started fooling around with some render solutions. I got a trial of Magic Bullet Denoiser II and it seems to be working great for these short 55 frame high motion loops. I am able to finish with quite a bit of grain, drop it on the indirect diffuse layer in the multi-pass AE composite, and the exports seem pretty nice. My trial is about to run up and I won't have much time to test more scenes with it before that. Has anyone else used this solution with Octane Render. It seems to be an excellent pair, as Denoiser II in AE uses GPU to render as well.

I use neat video reduce noise, it's fantastic in certain situations. If it can get a good noise sample then it's very effective.
