hello everyone! is the first work i post here... and im still using demo :(. Im a poor student and in this moment i cannot even afford the cheap price of octane, but it will be my first purchase when i will be in "better situation".

im doing this model to add to the list of works i want to put on my future website. is a WIP, and as you can see is still missing a lot of details and adjustings to the shape, but i couldn't resist to do some rendering :D

i have some problem to set properly materials. i saw the lotus of radiance, but i cannot achieve the stunning effects of his car paint... is it because of my lack of knowledge (this for sure) or there are also some limitations in material settings for the demo version?

however, here is the model, done in blender 2.55
the renders baked from 10 to 30 minutes on a geforce 250gts 1gb

I believe the "Mix Material", available in 2.3 v5, is required to achieve good looking car paint. There may be other ways to do it, but my knowledge is pretty limited on that subject at the moment.

thanks... i guessed something was missing in my version. well then i will go on tweaking the model while i wait to purchase octane.
