Recently Forest Pack Pro got a really nice update supporting clean edges of grass out of the box.
Unfortunatly it is only supported by VRay at the moment.
I asked on itoo forums and it seems now Octane needs this kind of shader to be developed by Otoy.
Will this happen? I use FPP on a daily base and this new feature is a real time saver. I think others here use FPP too.

Yes, I use FPP and RailClone for my everyday workflow, so I think we need full support of all features available.
P.D: Let´s wish Karba to get well soon, and enjoy the Holidays too.

Hey,
yes I vote for that edge mode support too +1. I am also working with Forest Pack and Railclone, so a complete support would be really nice.

In the forum there they told me it has to be implemented from the otoy side.coilbook wrote:Maybe it is itoo who must implement it for octane I wonder
Does octane support instances in real clone or it is slow to render?Philipp1980 wrote:Hey,

in Forest Pack instances are fully supported by Octane, but not in Rail Clone. Rail Clone objects have to be instanced first with the Rail Clone tools but I have the impression that also then they are bigger than normal instances. That's why I already requested the full Rail Clone support here in the forum also
