I bought an Nvidia Quadro but I was wrong ... someone can confirm that you can have both Quadro and geforce in the same PC ?
They can work together?

yeah, Quadro/Tesla ranges are not the best deal in GPU raytracing, nor for value, nor for their performance.
They can work together - I've seen Guys in this forum who have mixed (Quadro+GeForce) powered systems.

Hi Daniel,Daniel79 wrote:How can install the different drivers?
I have a similar setup. I think I merely installed the quadro driver and then the GTX when I built the PC.
I think if you install the driver for your render cards, the Quadro should be listed in the Nvidia control panel and you may not need to install the Quadro driver. I'n not sure if you'll notice any difference. Try it & let us know.

thanks a lot..when the card arrive i will try to install it.
then, if I understand it, I advice you to install drivers gtx, and that the Quadro should work fine equal.
Then do the opposite, install drivers Quadro, the gtx not work well ... I understand you correctly?
Sorry but i don't understand english very well!!

Actually, there may be an issue with doing it that way and I don't want to give you bad advice... Driver configs change all the time. The safe route is to just install both drivers. I could not find a lot of info online which probably means that there are not many issues with which driver you install first (unless anyone else has experience to the contrary?) - although the guy in the following thread has heard roumers of the Geforce driver overwriting the Quadro driver, unless you install the Quadro driver first (http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1714001).Daniel79 wrote:thanks a lot..when the card arrive i will try to install it.

Don't worry too much. It's not easy to break a card with a wrong driver. It will just not be optimized or at worst, not be picked up until you install the correct driver.
Hope that helps and I hope I did not cause any confusion with my first post...
Let us know how you get on.

I installed the quaddro drivers and software first then I installed the geforce drivers without the extra software. I wiped out all my old drivers before I did any of this. It's worked fine on a few computers doing it like this.
Sometimes there have been issues initially when restarting windows after all three installed. In that case, I just had to turn off the two geforce cards and let it boot into windows once with only the quaddro then restart with the geforce cards turned on and everything worked fine.
