I can't wait to put my hands on it, and use it with Octane! 8-)

Saw this yesterday =) it's insane! their product (full package) is single best piece I'm looking for.
Been trying since they released nDo & started with their journey! with these megaScans it's huge step forward!

(just found that package is not so friendly for novice user,- but it's only myself to blame =)
(stability been an issue, but hopefully they will tweaked things out - installing now! =)

I purchased the Qixel Suite last week, when it was 50% on Sale. 8-) For $45 it's a crime to not have it.
However, the Megascans will require a subscription. They will announce the prices next month, during the closed Beta.

my friend runs/used to run www.surfacemimic.com which does the same thing as these scans but it's gone pretty much dormant before it took off, so i'm really excited about this coming along!

Yeah I'm looking it for some time but i still don't understand what's the difference between "Hobby&Freelance" vs "Commercial" license, other than Commercial being 8x more expensive (50$ vs 400$) ??

Isn't the "Freelance" also commercial by nature ?

I used Surfacemimic for my projects, but yeah it doesn't seems to update it anymore, it's a shame.

Lewis, their pricing uses the honor system. ;)

Rikk, I have learned to take all Quixel announcements with a grain of salt. Next month could easily become a half year... But Teddy is getting better at keeping things moving and information flowing.

Edit: okay, I was just now able to take some time and watch the new video and read the press release... Yo!!.. Yeah, now I am getting excited. Hopefully Teddy & Co will be able to stay on schedule. They need to cut the music track in half for that video -- those dudes are all soft-spoken, and you can just barely hear them...
