You need to install the Visual C++ 2012 redistributable for x64 package in your system:

Are you sure that you get a "MSVCR110.dll" error and not a "MSVCR100.dll"?

If you get a MSVC100.dll error, you need to install also the Visual C++ 2010 redistributable from this link, or copy the MSVCR100.dll from the Standalone folder to your LightWave/bin folder:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download ... x?id=14632

But if your problem is the "MSVCR110.dll", be sure that you are installing the x64 redistributable, not the x86 (32 bits)

Apparently I installed the update to the "environment" (for Visual Studio) instead of the plain old Microsoft Visual. The installer looked like it installed something, but I don't think it actually installed anything. It's this sort of thing that makes me hate Windows. Anyway, I installed the right thing this time and it's working now. Thanks.
