Big Issues with c4d16 and c4doctanepresets.dat

I am trying to open a file I made on another computer a few months ago

1 all the mix materials are messed up and losing links
2 this c4doctanepresets.dat doesn't seem to be present or isn't re-created
I tried to go back thru and re-download the orig Octane materials I was using though I'd have to retweak them all over again which would suck

I saw a post that there was a way to re-link the textures but I couldn't find it anywahere

in the log it was also saying my cards where running out of memory / I've got 3 brand new 980's with 30 gigs of ram so this has got to be a joke cus all I'm trying to render are 4 vases with 4 pillars / pic attached is just a standard c4d one to show geometry barely a few thousand polys if even

also every time I touch a atom array object the blue wheel starts spinning and freezes the whole system to where I have to crash out of it

It doesn't even seem to matter what I touch - just tried to turn on a extruded spline obj and the blue wheel of death came on again-
I've tried both the newest plugin versions for c4d 15 and c16 - using the version for 15 now in C4d 16

which version is used on first scene? Some changes done in mixmaterials over very old versions.

Also this is not related with c4doctanepresets.dat. c4doctanepresets.dat is only a file to hold settings presets. How much big textures is used here? How much polygons do you have? Don't you know that Octane does not use system ram for rendering? What about 30gb? Only looks to vram. Check error messages. You have a problem with vram amount of device 1/2 as error message says.
Also check you total export time. 226 sec. Horrible, that should be reason why you don't happy. Without know the limits and ignorance will not make you happy.
