Total Noob here and not even sure I know enough to ask the proper questions. Just got the edu versions of the standalone and Maya plugin. Maya plugin seems to be installed properly, bar is present and ticked enable for Octane so have the option to set that as a renderer. However, when I start the IPR render as indicated in the manual I don't get a Octane window and do get an error msg that Octane is not activated. I opened the standalone renderer and it shows activated and Live acct active sooo Have no idea where to go from here to get this working. Have read both manuals and don't get anything relevant to my issue. Was wanting to get the Poser plugin as well but not if I cant get this working. Thought perhaps I could also import an obj into the standalone to render but don't find any options for it.
Help?
