[Feature request] Button to prevent render restart

Hello guys,

I just would like to suggest a kind of safety feature : a button to prevent render restart.
Imagine : You have been rendering for 12 hours when you decide to inspect the result but you pressed SHIFT instead of CTRL to pan the image...
The render restarts.
It would be nice to have a button that locks all actions that implies restarting the render like : editing material, moving the camera. But you still have access to the feature that does not restart computation.

It would be nice... What do you think ?

This has been already asked a few times. The devs probably picked it up.
